Sean Candy
Sean Candy heads up CRM for the Merchant Division at Lesaka Technologies (Nasdaq: LSAK; JSE: LSK), a leading South African fintech company focused on digitising commerce and financial inclusion across Southern Africa. In this role, he drives CRM strategies and implementations to support merchant solutions, including integrated POS systems, payment processing, and hospitality-focused tools.
His journey began in hospitality, where he spent nearly 10 years working in bars and restaurants across KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, building hands-on expertise in operations and customer service.
In 2004, he joined GAAP Point-of-Sale—a specialist POS provider for the hospitality sector—as a sales representative. Over 22 years, he progressed to manage the sales, marketing, and Salesforce CRM teams. Following Lesaka’s acquisition of Adumo (incorporating GAAP), he has continued leading in hospitality fintech, now heading CRM for the broader Merchant Division.
