Boota Pitso
As the Country Lead for Alcoholic Ready to Drink (ARTD) portfolio, Boota Pitso leads the strategy for the alcohol beverage portfolio for Coca-Cola Beverages SA (CCBSA).
With over 15 years’ experience in the beverage industry, his career spans roles from sales analytics, Revenue Growth Management, Trade Marketing and front-line sales. Having started his career at Brandhouse (now Diageo), he worked at SAB & Heineken before moving to join CCBSA as Channel Lead for HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants and Cafés) and independent on-premise outlets amongst other leadership commercial sales roles during his time at CCBSA.
Amongst his career achievements, he was selected as part of the 100 Brightest Young Minds in SA (2013), Top 5 finalist in the Standard Bank Rising Star Awards in the Manufacturing, Retail & FMCG category (2018) and has won two global execution awards in the Coca-Cola system for his work and involvement in the SA market in HoReCa and traditional market.
Boota holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting (2009) & a Postgraduate Diploma in Management in Marketing (2010), both from UCT, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Practices from Henley Business School (2021)
Passionate about the beverage industry and an avid foodie, he is popularly known amongst his friends as “The Skinny Chef”, hoping to one day challenge the narrative that “you can’t trust a skinny chef”.Sessions
