Hostex 2026 is a trade only event and is NOT open to the general public.
Students will not be permitted entrance under our general admission criteria. Entry for students enrolled in their final year of study at a professional hospitality or culinary training institution is by prior arrangement only. Please Note: As Hostex is a trade event, no children under 16 years of age will be admitted.
Yes, once you have received your badge you can return to the show as many times as you wish.
Yes, there is ample parking at the Sandton Convention Centre or Nelson Mandela Square.
Sunday to Tuesday: 9:30am – 4:30pm
As Hostex 2026 is a trade event, children under 16 are not permitted to attend the exhibition. The Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry into the exhibition. Prams are not permitted under any circumstances for safety reasons.

There are cash points located inside and outside the venue.
Yes, there will be designated wireless internet access in the hall. Wifi vouchers need to be purchased from the Sandton Convention Centre.

A daily activity newsletter will be available on the website, which will include information on demos, talks and competitions, allowing you to plan your visit to this year’s show.
We encourage visitors to register online in advance. Registering before the show date means you will gain quicker entry on the day and receive updates on all the latest news and features so you don’t miss out and can plan your visit to include any talks, demonstrations or special features you might be interested in.
Yes, you are able to register on-site for the expo. We do, however, encourage visitors to pre-register to avoid queues and ensure the most timely access to the expo.
We encourage you to register online before arriving to avoid the queues. If you register online, you will receive your name badge instantly via email, which you can print to bring with you. If you have pre-registered and forget your badge, our registration staff will assist you to print a new badge when you arrive at the expo.
When you arrive at the expo, our friendly staff at the registration area can amend any details and print a revised version of your badge.
Our on-site team will be happy to assist you to create a new badge. Make your way to the registration desk at the entrance and give the staff your name. They will locate your details on our database and issue you with a new badge.
